Music class with Mr. Matt
For over 18 years Mr. Matt has developed his own unique early childhood music program designed to engage the children using a variety of music, movement, and drama. The children play actual instruments as well as use props and costumes to help them expand their understanding of music while invigorating their imagination. Mr. Matt has a natural gift to connect with the children, encouraging them to participate and have fun. Using themes such as Seasons-Holidays-Family and Friends, Mr. Matt integrates academic achievement by including Numbers-Colors-Shapes and Letters. Music from around the world gives the children an opportunity to experience different cultures through a diverse choice of instruments and costumes. Mr. Matt’s music program for kids blends the elements of the whole child: Emotional-Social and Physical which ultimately vastly improves their educational ability in life.
For Mr. Matt, the most important part of experiencing his class is for the children to have FUN!!!
